About My Piggies!

Well, where to start?

I first got Arthur, my Peruvian, in October, when he came up from Texas with a friend who was visiting me. He was only about a month old at the time, so he got used to me pretty quick! I bring him into school all the time with me, and he loves the attention! ^.^ I think the funniest thing about Arthur is that after he gets a bath, he loves being blow-dryed! He points his nose up in the air, and will turn in all different directions to get the warm air everywhere on his little body!

In January, I figured Arthur was getting a bit lonely, and while it did take a heap load of convincing my parents, I got him a friend - Penelope (my Texel)! I got her from a friend of mine, and she's just a darling little pom-pom! :P I have a cage divider between the two so they can't breed, but they can still smell and touch each other through the bars. They love being able to interact with one another - even if they can't get too close.

And last, but not least, on May 12th, 2012, I added a very special new member to the family: Dudley! He is probably THE smartest cavy I have ever met! He is so friendly and trusting already, too. The minute I saw him at the adoption center, I knew he was the right pig for me. Dudley is about 7-8 months old, and he's a crested. I hope to be teaching him some tricks quite soon! ^.^
